Council appoints Assistant CM as interim

During a special Sep. 11, 2017 meeting, the Forney City Council met and:

• Held a 78-minute executive session re:
  
  • City Manager Separation and Release Agreement
    
  • City Manager
    
  • City Attorney

• Approved accepting Separation and Release Agreement with James Fisher.
  
• Approved appointing Assistant City Manager as interim City Manager, direct staff to receive proposals from executive search firms for both interim City Manager services and to conduct a City Manager search.
  
• Approved authorizing Mayor to execute an amendment to the employment agreement with the City Attorney.
  
• Adjourned at 7:20.
