Capital Improvement Cmte reviews final draft

During its regular Oct. 08, 2020 meeting, the Forney Capital Improvements Advisory Cmte met to consider revised Capital Improvement Plan.

• Discussed Water and Sewer Capital Improvement Plan for 2021 to 2030.
      Mr. Morgan said continuing the process, introduced Mr. Dormier.  Mr. Dormier said they took additional info, worked with staff, this is about 95% what CIP should be.  Some existing project are carried over.  Recoupment projects: can recover costs for projects they thought wouldn't need, but did.
      Sewer has 2 holdover projects, removing Grayhawk lift station, utilizing larger system up mustang creek.
      There will be a Public Hearing at next council meeting, they determine if to update CIP.  If approved, they will return with final document and listing costs for the committee to approve.
      Chair Shimkus asked about oversized line to Windmill Farms - that is being looked at, could delay project a little.
