The Forney Board of Adjustments, during a Jan. 15, 2015 meeting approved a variance for signage for the Spellman Museum of Forney History.

The Forney Planning & Zoning commission on Jan. 08, 2015 held several public hearings, then approved Gateway Parks, Brooklyn Village changes, sign ordinance update to allow electronic signs and neon.

The Forney City Council Dec 16 approved changes at Forney Fence Co, for downtown businesses, plans for for Cedars at Gateway II, expands KCFWSD #6 and items related to Fire Station #2.
