Master-Planned Community Meraki coming to Forney area

Tellus Group (based in Plano) has stated that a Master-Planned Community "Meraki" will be located at FM 548 and Mann Road, bringing 2,721 homes on 1,100 acres, starting in 2025.

Two of the large existing lakes will be preserved along with several hundred acres of open green space.

Phase 1 will have 406 homes.

The plans include a Forney ISD elementary school, a Civic Center, and commercial areas.

The planned widening of FM 548 in this area currently has no construction start date.
