Haughey resigns; Applications being taken for vacancy

During the June 19 city council meeting, member Brian Haughey resigned. He is moving outside the city limits for the benefit of his family, therefore he can no longer sit on the council.
The city acceptrf applications for this vacancy until June 29th. The City Council will be interviewing applicants in the coming weeks.
