Boil Water Notice - City of Forney - Rescinded

Texas Health Resources released this statement announcing expansion into Kaufman County -

Texas Health Resources, the health system that cares for more North Texans than any other, is expanding services in Kaufman County, including building a new full-service hospital and on-campus medical office building in Forney.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Kaufman County is growing faster than any other in the nation with Forney among the country’s fastest-growing cities.

Hwy 80 EB will be single lane overnight - update

Hwy 80 EastBound will be single lane from Lawson to 460/Clements Fri. Aug. 9 from 8:30 pm to 06:00 am, weather permitting.

Hwy 80 to be closed night of May 17

Weather permitting, all lanes of US 80 will close at FM 460/Clements Drive from 8 p.m. Friday, May 17 through 5 a.m. Saturday, May 18 for bridge demolition.

FM 460 / Clements weekend closure II

KAUFMAN - Weather permitting, all lanes of FM 460/Clements Drive will be closed at US 80 from 7 p.m. Friday, May 10 through 6 a.m. Monday, May 13 as part of the ongoing project.

Detours will be in place and traffic will need to plan extra travel time. Traffic will be shifted onto a portion of the newly constructed pavement at the completion of this closure.

This work is part of the ongoing $129 million construction project awarded to Webber, LLC. The project is anticipated for overall completion in spring 2026, weather permitting.
